The sixth annual 60s and 70s Alumni Reunion will be held at 6pm, Thursday, Sept. 14 at Bangkok Alley, 715 W Brookhaven Cir, Memphis, TN. All 60s and 70s alums are welcomed and encouraged to attend.
This year, in honor of Sister Jeannine's 60th Anniversary as a Mercy Sister, we will be donating to the "Sisters Scholarship," a one-time scholarship awarded by the ICCS scholarship committee to a high school student who exhibits good academic standards, excellent citizenship and service, and who has a demonstrated financial need. The Sisters Scholarship was founded by Debbie Smith Meyers, Class of '75, in memory of her mother Katie McConnell Smith and her mother's sister Jean McConnell Oberstee. This scholarship also honors Mrs. Meyers' aunt, June McConnell Rodgers, and is dedicated to The Sisters of Mercy who had an impact on Debbie during her ICCS years and beyond. If you cannot attend the reunion but would still like to contribute to the Sisters Scholarship, you may make an online donation here. Please choose "Sisters Scholarship" in the drop-down menu.
It's time to plan reunions for the classes of 1968, 1978 1988, 1998 and 2008! Please contact McKenzie Martin at 901-435-5252 if you need assistance gathering classmates' addresses and/or publicizing your event.
