ICCS Junior Named Delegate for Future Medical Leaders Congress

ICCS junior Paris Hall will be a Delegate to the Congress of Future Medical Leaders in Lowell, MA on June 24-26, 2020. The Congress is an honors-only program for high school students who want to become physicians or go into medical research fields. Lower School Students Learn Flag Etiquette

Jane Gillespie with the Chickasaw Bluff Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution visited some of our Lower School classrooms this morning to talk to students about U.S. flag etiquette. Mrs. Gillespie spoke about proper conduct when the National Anthem is played, display and use of the flag, how to display the flag, how to raise and lower the flag, and how to properly dispose of a worn flag. Upper School French Club Celebrates French National Week

 Last week, the Upper School French Club celebrated French National Week by making Crêpes while listening to French music and discussing French culture. ICCS Teachers Attend Foreign Language Conference

Immaculate Conception Cathedral School's foreign language staff attended the Tennessee Foreign Language Teaching Association conference in Franklin last weekend, where ICCS High School Spanish teacher Javiera Navarrete was a presenter. Middle School Students Attend Robotics Exhibit

A group of Middle School students attended a robotics exhibit at MLGW's main office this morning that featured robotics created by students from area schools. The experience served as an introduction to robotics at ICCS.  Students were accompanied by ICCS librarian Nancy Miller and Middle School science teacher John Juniker who the day before attended a robotics workshop at the University of Memphis.
