Upper School Celebrates Freshman Week

ICCS seniors formally welcomed their freshmen "little sisters" to Upper School during the annual Freshman Capping Ceremony held in the Cathedral on Tuesday, Aug. 7, the first day of the 2018-19 school year.  The ceremony began with a prayer service led by Cathedral Pastor Fr. Robert Marshall, after which each freshman was called forward with her senior big sister to receive her freshman beanie.  Following school tradition, freshmen wore their beanies for the remainder of the week that featured more welcome events including a Senior-Freshman picnic on Friday and concluded with a Senior-Freshman tea on Sunday.
