Senior Spotlight of the Week

The Senior Spotlight this week is on Samantha "Sam" Oswald.

Samantha has applied to Christian Brothers University, St. Edward's University, St. Louis University, University of Dayton, Catholic University of America, John Carroll University, and Belmont Abbey University.

She will attend Franciscan University of Steubenville and major in Second Education and Theology with a minor in French and Psychology.

Sam has been involved in numerous activities and served in several roles at ICCS including Spanish Club, French Club, Sophomore Class President, Beta Club, National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta, Environmental Club, Political Club, Teens for Life Club, Knowledge Bowl, soccer manager, and Schola Cantorum while at ICCS.

Accolades over her high school years at ICCS include:
-2nd Place in a citywide essay contest on religious freedom
-scoring above a 30 on the ACT
-AP scholar
-Top 8 in WREG News Channel 3 KBOWL
-18th out of 14,000+ on the National French Exam
-3rd Place in the University of Memphis Language Fair Research competition

When asked about her favorite part of ICCS, she said, "My favorite thing about IC is that is has become my home away from home and everybody here is like family. I've grown up here and IC will always be a part of my heart."
