Cathedral and School Campus Dedicate New Early Childhood Center

Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception (IC) and Immaculate Conception Cathedral School (ICCS) celebrated the dedication of the campus’ new Cathedral Center/Early Childhood Center on Monday, Aug. 8. The Most Reverend J. Terry Steib, SVD, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Memphis in Tennessee, presided at the liturgy that began in the Cathedral and led the procession to the Center, where he bestowed blessings throughout the building.

The $4 million, two-story structure houses preschool through 2nd-grade classrooms,  an art room, offices, meeting spaces, and a spacious all-campus media center. It is the first new building on the IC campus in 41 years and will officially open with the first day of school on Aug. 10.
