About Us

Spiritual Life at ICCS

Our Faith

ICCS has as its core the Catholic ideal of raising a child with
reverence for the mystery of creation and for its Creator.
Worship is an integral part of the ICCS experience; it is crucial to the spiritual life of the school and the development of strong moral character in our students.

While our students represent a variety of faith traditions, all begin each Monday and Friday morning and Holy Days with Mass in the Cathedral at 8:15am. Parents and other family members and friends have an open invitation to join us and celebrate Mass with the student body anytime.

As appropriate for their ages, students assume ministerial functions such as altar servers, lectors, greeters, liturgical musicians, and ministers of the Eucharist.

Each school day begins and ends with prayer.
All students receive daily religious instruction. Parents of all faith traditions have come to respect the many ways in which ICCS has brought their daughters and sons to a deeper understanding of their own religious traditions as well as the Catholic Church's teachings.
