Former Memphis Mayor AC Wharton Visits 4th-Grade Class

After their social studies lesson on the levels of government and the duties of each, our 4th-graders had a visit from former Memphis and Shelby County Mayor and current ICCS grandparent, AC Wharton, Jr., who spoke to students about his experiences in government. The key takeaways were to be inquisitive and learn as much as possible, be adventurous, and have the desire to serve.
